Our mission is

To advance the understanding the nervous system and diseases associated with frontotemporal dementias and neurodegeneration, including the part they play in determining behavior; to bring together scientists from various backgrounds and disciplines; to facilitate the integration of research directed at all levels of biological organization; to promote education in the neurosciences and inform the general public on the results and implications of current research in neuroscience; andto promote other activities that will contribute to the development of neuroscience.
